Submit an open or closed panel proposal on any topic in political science, including the Congress theme, Uncertain Democracies: Rethinking Governance in a Changing Global System. Don't miss this opportunity to present your research and exchange ideas with colleagues from around the world.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Authored by some of the most outstanding academics in the IPSA community, IPSAMOOC is a joint project with Federica Web Learning that offers free online political science courses. Since its launch in 2016, over 100,000 people worldwide have benefited from IPSAMOOC courses in English and Spanish on the largest MOOC providers, Coursera and edX.

SUMMER SCHOOLS

IPSA Summer Schools give social sciences scholars access to high-quality advanced training in qualitative and quantitative research methods in social and political science. To help students advance their methodological skillset and establish connections with peers from all over the world, IPSA has collaborated with local universities worldwide since 2010 to organize summer schools in methodology. It now includes six active and successful methods Summer Schools (Antalya, Mexico, Naples, São Paulo, Singapore and Santiago de Compostela) offering a wide range of courses in quantitative, qualitative, and formal research methods. Moreover, since 2021, the IPSA-Concordia Summer Institute in Applied Diplomacy, held in Montréal (Canada), has been IPSA’s first thematic Summer School. In 2026, IPSA also launched its second thematic Summer School, the IPSA-PPSA Summer School: Transforming Politics and Media in the Age of Artificial Intelligence, which will be held in Poznań, Poland.

International Political Science Review
Established in 1980, the International Political Science Review (IPSR) is committed to publishing peer-reviewed articles that significantly contribute to political science. IPSR is published five times per year. Submit your manuscript electronically via our online interface.

International Political Science Abstracts
Established in 1951, the International Political Science Abstracts is a global resource, providing non-evaluative abstracts of articles published in scholarly journals from every region of the world. The Abstracts is published six times per year.

Governance Review
IPSA’s new journal, Governance Review, will be published by Sage in January 2027. The journal’s website is accepting manuscript submissions, and we warmly invite political scientists to contribute their work. Detailed instructions are available on the website.

Gender and Diversity Monitoring Report
Since 2011, IPSA has published, every four years, the Gender and Diversity Monitoring Report, a gender and diversity monitoring survey to track the status of women and cultural communities in political science and strengthen their role in scientific research and organizations.
